This site was launched in 2006 on the occasion of the Department of Biochemistry's 50th year of completion. This proud occasion was celebrated by all of us who have been associated with this department since its inception. The Department is justifiably proud of its alumni who have done so much to lay the solid foundations of its present reputation. Through all these years our alumni have been our biggest assets and brand ambassadors. It is your help, guidance, suggestions and affection that has nourished this department and given succeeding generations of students the sense of belonging to an extended family rather than mere two years of academics.
